Day 41: O’Neill, NE to Ainsworth, NE

A purty field in Nebraska.

I didn't even know there was a Hay Country!
Moo cows glaring at me blanlky as I go by.
Real live hay stacks!  Now where did  leave that needle...?

Day 04: Deerfield, MA to Pittsfield, MA

The view after a couple hours of grinding uphill.
One of the many scenic dirt roads my GPS wanted me to enjoy.
Cheshire Reservoir with dark clouds looming.
Another crooked view across the reservoir.
The smooth, flat goodness of the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail.
A prehistoric beast from the depths attempting to devour me whole!

Day 03: Westminster, MA to Deerfield, MA

Rest break on the town common.

A nice little beach that would have been a relaxing place to rest if it wasn't for
the kid screaming "Shark!" every 5 seconds at the top of his lungs!

Got tricked into following a "Scenic Overlook" sign.  All I could see was this plowed field.

Crossing the Connecticut River.

Looking back into Sunderland.

Looking ahead to mighty Mt. Sugarloaf the un-campable!

Day 02: Chelmsford, MA to Westminster, MA

Taking a break under a tree in Groton.
Why did we only cover bridges? Why not cover whole roads?
View of a bridge from within a bridge.
The Beast: loaded and ready for action!
A bit of Civil War history right here in Shirley, MA!

Day 01: Salem, MA to Chelmsford, MA

Sunrise on a cloudy Atlantic

I hope seeing one of these things at the start of a long jurney is good luck or something.

A sneaky camp raider. Probably came from the pirate ship!

Anchors aweigh!

Dipping my rear wheel in the Atlantic.
My rim better not fall apart somewhere in the middle of Nebraska due to salt corrosion!
A cool old hangar on Winter Island. Just a giant birdhouse now.

Pretty colors

Day 00: Chelmsford, MA to Salem, MA

The view of the ocean from my first campsite of the trip. Not too shabby!

The non-ocean view from my campsite.

Too cold to go swimming, but nice to look at.

Pirates attack! Arrg, call out the witches!

Accommodation are ready.
